    The San Francisco House Plantation is having their annual fund raising event the weekend of March 1-2. This is one of the main ways they raise money for the entire year.

    On the 1st they are having a car show and I'd like to see if anyone else would come.

    I was thinking we could stay at the show for an hour or so and then go eat lunch. Not to far from any of the Mindendorfs/Hymel's/Houmas House/Cabin eating establishments.
    Heck I'd even buy lunch if it would help get some other cars to come out.

    Location is convenient for both Baton Rouge and NO people being on the east bank of the river road just down from the Lutcher Bridge at Hwy 641 @ exit #194.

    Any questions please ask & I'll get an answer right away. If anyone is worried about security of their ride I should be able to get a detail assigned to the area while we're there.

    How about meeting at the Shell station (former Texaco) and caravaning over to the show? Meet at 11.

    What Shell station? Cross streets?

    And are you guys planing on putting your cars in the show?
    If so we would need to be there before 12:00.

    Sorry- this is the station i meant.

    It's at the intersection of I-10 & I-55 at Laplace.

    Thanks for putting together a nice quick one. I had a lot of fun chasing the F-40 and seeing everyone again. The plantation house, car show, craft booths, food and all made me wish I had brought the wife and kids. Maybe next year.

    Frank,

    It was one of the few times that I forgot to pack my camera. You would know that the F-40 would show up and be in the mood to run. Has to be by far the fastest car I have ever driven behind.

    That snow looks like it would be fun for a few days. When does it look like you will be back?

    I should be back in early May, however I was offered a extension yesterday so I am considering it, not too seriously though as I have two vacations planned for the summer. But I may come back next year for the summer.
