Just my theory...So please no flaming... 1) Brawn, who Mercedes just bought a large part of ... 2) Mercedes wants Rosberg, and are open about... 3) Santander, who in 2007 came on board with Alonzo/ Mercedes...after that nightmare, The partnership actually did well...Santander's brand awareness has risen from 20% to 82% in the United Kingdom. Which they plan on expanding even further...They are BIG on marketing in the UK right now, and are extending their contract with Mercedes... Does this mean that Santander is going to determine who stays with Brawn? Wouldn't it make sense to have Button and Hamilton Team up to create the British power house of World champions ? Mercedes still gets Roseberg through Brawn? Below is an interesting statement from Ross Brawn, which leads me to believe the important decisions such as "where is all the money to run this coming from ?" are what is going to determine who drives the car ...Let's face it you could put a well trained Kangaroo in a Ross Brawn car, and do well... Brawn insisted that the driver question for next year is still open. "It's still to be decided," he said. "We're working on it. We've other things we have to sort out and then the drivers will come after that."
