Sarasota Cars & Coffee 3-Year Ann. June 7

Good morning,

On behalf of Suncoast Motorsports we would like to invite you to join us for our three year anniversary celebration of Cars & Coffee in Sarasota, Florida. Our big meet will be held on Saturday June 7, 2014 and we have extended our time from 8:00am to 1:00PM, as we will be hosting a cookout for lunch in addition to our normal breakfast and Starbucks coffee in the morning.

As always, we welcome all makes and models and we run rain or shine. We will be having a live DJ on site, raffle prizes, and for the first time ever we will be handing out Best of Show awards (dealer cars excluded from awards). We are expecting over 150 cars throughout the day and would love to have you join us.

Please let us know if you can help us celebrate. We recommend arriving early as space fills up quickly.

Just an update: we will be having a live DJ from 10am-1pm and 5 car show categories: Best of Show, Best Porsche, Best Vintage (pre-1985), Best Import, and Best Domestic. Best of Show is the grand prize winner and the award is you get to enjoy a Porsche for a Weekend courtesy of Suncoast Porsche.

 

It will be great to have some more FChattera join us. It's been a few months since I remember seeing one of you. I can confirm some more of the awards. Eco-Care Detailing is providing a Diamond Detail ($199 value) to the Best Vintage (Pre-1985) winner. Underground Autostyling is providing a full window tinting to the winner of Best Import. The winner of Best Porsche will receive a morning of golf for four at a local country club, and the winner of Best Domestic has yet to be determind.

Our rally last year was amazing. We're starting planning for this years already.

Side note, does anyone here know Chad Williams? He has a matte grey F12 and brought it to our C&C a few months back.

 

There should be. I believe Stuart who runs the Orlando C&C is bringing a group. Anyone have his contact info?

Update: we have secured The Chop Shop to cater a BBQ lunch beginning at 11am. Judging for the car show will be from 9am-11am with awards at noon.

Best of Show overall 1st place prize has been modified. The winner will now receive 2 VIP tickets to the Marina Jacks 4th of July Fireworks extraveganza. This includes VIP parking, open bar all night long, and a full catered dinner right along the water overlooking the fireworks display in Sarasota Bay. This a big time prize for the Best of Show winner.

 

Important Information for Saturday morning: This will be the largest event Suncoast Motorsports has ever hosted and we need everyone to please follow instructions to help keep everything under control.

-The entrance along US41 will be coned off for parking spaces, please enter off Phillippi Street on the North side of the property.

-A Suncoast Motorsports staff member will be handing out a raffle ticket and schedule of events to every car that pulls in and will direct you to another staff member who will assist you with parking your car. Please follow their instructions. If you want to park with a group please arrive as a group. We will not be saving spaces.

-Everyone is eligible to register their car to win an award for FREE. After you park please go to the podium by the Suncoast Motorsports trailer and fill out a display card, then place that card on your dashboard. If you do not register you are not eligible to win an award.

-Car Show categories are as follows: Best of Show (1st Overall, every registered car is eligible), Best Porsche, Best Vintage (Pre-1985), Best Import, and Best Domestic. You may register for multiple categories if your car qualifies for more than one (i.e. 1969 Camaro SS for Best Domestic and Best Vintage).

-Car Show judging will end at 11am.

-Raffle prizes will be given out at 9am, 10am, and 11am. Car Show awards ceremony will be at 12pm.

-BBQ lunch will be served at 11am.

-Please respect Suncoast Motorsports, their employees, customers, and be courteous to everyone around you. Suncoast will be open for normal business.

-Most importantly have fun and enjoy yourself. We are all car enthusiasts at the end of day.
