Post this up on exotic boards and spread the word--let's try to get the BIGGEST EXOTIC TURNOUT OF THE YEAR! TIME: 7:00am - 9:30am LOCATION: HRE Wheels HQ, 2611 Commerce Way, Suite D, Vista, CA 92081 HRE's large parking area has room for 300-400 cars easily, so let's fill up the lot! FREE REFRESHMENTS & HRE FACTORY TOUR: HRE will be giving a facility tour to all attendees, so you can see how their forged custom wheels are made, ask technical questions of the engineers, etc. Complimentary Starbuck's coffee, donuts, bagels and muffins will be provided by HRE. ATTN: LA/OC guys, get down here and pay SD a visit! Let's get a big combined meet together on this day, go for a drive afterward, and get some group pictures of our cars together. Get organized with a caravan down here, and be sure to take vid and pics! MOUNTAIN/BEACH DRIVE AFTER THE MEET: Let's all go for a drive in the eastern hills and mountains of San Diego after the meet. Last meet I put together in Nov, we had a great mountain drive, stopped for lunch and then cruised down the coast to La Jolla. (Some of you may remember a certain video of a certain Carrera GT peacefully meandering along the San Diego coast...not making any noise at all.)* If anyone has an alternate eastern route for the drive (instead of going over Mt. Palomar), bring a map with your route and some copies to distribute, and we can definitely try something new. I'll snag some maps from AAA as usual and pass them out after the tour and snacking. And Scott (hotrodguy)...remember to tell Nick to eat light this time if he rides shotgun! *Felix's (Porschefanatic) awesome pics and vid from the November meet for any who missed it: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64604&highlight=carlsbad Looking forward to seeing you guys! Post ROLL CALL here, copy and add to the list. -Dave
I don't think so, but you could make cutouts in your bagel so it's a multi-spoke...and a slice of tomato could be the glowing brake rotor showing thru!
which ones? offset? and bolt pattern? probably a long shot that they would fit but hey if you are selling them.... back on topic
hey I just checked out that thread and the pics are from the Cbad meet at the Outlet Mall, not at HRE, and speaking of which this HRE meet is the same day as the Cbad meet.
Should be fun Dave, I'm still trying to find a ride haha! I feel guilty always riding with Branden, next time I do your getting gas money no matter what or else just some starbucks like today at Crystal Cove... lol!
does anybody have an extra seat for an easy-going swede? I don't have a car so I'll have to take the train down to encinitas and stay overnight (if there aren't anybody from santa barbara driving down). there aren't any buses leaving that early in the morning so I'm wondering if there's a chance I could get a ride with someone instead? I would really appreciate it! J
Who brought the F40 to the meet we had right before Thanksgiving? Come to this meet on the 28th, your car is incredible!
It was a man who brought his young young son...license plate cover was from Cardiff Classics. That's all I know.
Just looked at the pictures - You got an Elise! Absolutely no car that is more fun out at Palomar etc!
Yep, last August. Really amazing handling from this thing. Makes you wonder what all of the sports cars would do if they were 2000lbs or less.
Yo Pete, my pmbox is overfilled (i use to be a subscriber) now its way overfilled.) My harddrive crashed and I lost your email. Email me at my new email, its the same but ends with "@roadrunner.com". Hope to hear from you.
