Saturday July 23rd at Plugzit's house in Redondo Beach we're gonna do a little bit of grillin'. Come on by anytime after 10am or so. We'll have burgers and dogs. If you want a steak or chicken, bring it. I'll have Cokes. Drive your car and we'll see if we can set a new local 348 record. Others welcome too! Meet other local owners (one new Nero/Nero 348), tell lies, hear some new ones. Let me know if you'll be here so I can make sure I have enough food (especially Fat Billybob). Wemmin welcome.

 

Yep, just 2 blocks to the beach, so if they don't wanna lissen to our lies and war stories, they can cop a tan.

Plugzit now a motec tuner put the 355 ITB’s back on his 348. 387 RWHP ....I would never admit it!

I bet Ernie won’t show up driving his Ferrari If he does I’ll wash it.....and I'll loan him my "Hello Kitty" license plate frame.

I dare Vince to show up at the BBQ with a dirty 348SS.....and clean underwear.

Who wants to take bets my 550 will be clean and polished tomorrow including the wheels.....absolutely never happen!

Well, we survived. Law enforcement showed up early....in the person of Larry, retired cop, with a new (to him) nero/nero 348ts. Tom, with his new (to him too) nero/nero 348ts (Peanut). Then Vince in his nero/crema 348ss. Hmmm, there seems to be a trend here. Davidsf355f1 stopped by. Finally, a car in proper color! Fat Billybob with his 550. We're wandering. Darkkaangel came in a Solstice...black, dammit! Where's your red Ferrari? I'm getting worried there's some kind of Nero conspiracy going on here! Erik, our local 76 dealer and 355 AND 550 owner stopped in. ReinerKeiser finally showed with his red 348. My god, it's got a 355 front bumper and sidescoops! What's wrong with this crowd? Oh yeah, buncha stooges. Then there was some guy in a properly colored 348 but the steering wheel is on the wrong side. Whotheheckisthat? Well, ok, let's see if we can disassemble something. How about Tom's car? He's a new guy so he doesn't know any better than to let us near his car with wrenches. So, we got his transmission drained and muffler off. Did somebody mention food? Oops, sorry Tom, can't work now, gotta eat. The big question became...Is there enough food? Fat Billybob is here. There's not enough food in Redondo Beach for him, much less here. Fortunately, he's slow getting to the food. You see, everybody else went up the stairs and FBB had to go around as he wasn't able to fit into the stairway from the garage. Car lies, a few motorcycle lies, Angeles Crest is open, F1 qualifying, blah, blah, blah. Tom looks worried. Oh yeah, his car is disassembled in the garage. Anybody know how to put it back together? The Nero Allienza sprung into action, finished that 30-minute job in only 2 or 3 hours, and eliminated 35 pounds of dead weight. No, not by removing his girthfulness from the car! He bypassed the lower muffler a la 3forty8's method. Synthetic gear oil, and the car was transformed! Another 348 Stoogerized!
Thanks to all for a great time and sharing some new lies. I always need new ones because most of my friends are tired of hearing the old ones. We were too busy telling them to take many pics, so use your imagination.
