    I'm looking for a second hand (not new) Satellite phone to use while in the Canadian outback fishing. It won't be used but maybe 2 or 3 times a year and while flying.

    What is a good second hand phone (model and/or manufacturer) to buy??

    Iridium phones from Motorola, they are usually on ebay. They are quite expensive but they will work anywhere you can see the sky. The DOD uses these all around the world.
