Okay gang, last notice! We are meeting at Northgate Saturday morning at 8:30am, departing promptly at 9am. We will make a stop at the Arlington exit off I-5 (Shell station) to meet some of the membership up north, gas up, and make a quick "health break".

After passing Mount Vernon, we'll detour off for Chuckanut Drive for a short run through the twisties. We will re-enter I-5 at Fairhaven, and continue north to the Bellingham Airport exit, but head east, to the Fred Meyer parking lot, where we will meet the Ferrari gang from Vancouver, BC. We should arrive around 11am, departing around 11:30am.

From Bellingham, we are going to head up I-5 a short way, then exit and work our way west toward the water, then north to Semiahmoo. Expect some nice views and scenic byways. Our final stop will be at the Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA. We will be eating at the Packer's restaurant, but may get a private area separate from the main dining area, due to the expected size of our group. We should arrive at Semiahmoo between noon and 12:30pm. We will have reserved parking, to the left of the main building, just to the south.

Sounds great, unless something popped up during the week, I should be with the convoy. Hope the weather will be nice by next weekend.

Thanks Dave. Been sort of buy lately, both family and professionally. I wanted to attend the tech session yesterday at FoS, but wouldn't you know it, it is on the same weekend as our annual conference here in Seattle. Anyway, I would definetly try to make it to this GTG. :)

Well gang, let's hope the weatherman is wrong for Saturday! Been the case for Wed and Thur of this week...and it has been glorious, yes?!

    Cross fingers... http://www.king5.com/weather/10day.html

I will admit that I sprayed some heavy duty 3M Scotchgard water repellent on my spider top yesterday. ;)

I'm going to have to check to see if I really got my windshield leak fixed. Looks like I may get the chance tomorrow!! 8:30 is awful early for me though. Maybe I'll just take tomorrow off and get to bed early!!

I'm sorry I am missing this drive. It sounds like fun, but the current weather reports say rain for Saturday.

Think of me while I drive back from SLC, UT with the family in the S6. The plan for the 840 miles of travel is to do it all in one day. Speeds will be 80 in Utah and Idaho, 70 in Oregon, and 75 in WA. It should be ~12 hours of drive time, split between Kara and me. Hopefully the kids can handle it. If they can't, well, they'll just have to!

    Later,
    Dan

Just wondering what the word is for tomorrow, with the weather being the way it is and all.

    It will be as planned.

The weather report is forecasting rain in the morning but tapering off as the day progresses.

The roads should be quite clean after the the recent downpours around here.

No need to wash and wax BEFORE either.

The two yellow Gallardo's look familiar, sure I saw them on Hwy 99 heading south after our event. doubt there's too many pairs of yellow Gallardo's around town.

It was great to meet everyone, and looking forward to the Father's Day weekend up here on this side of the border! Thx again for the WA hospitality.

Hmm, looks like I can have a month or two of hooligism and pass the blame off as "Roy's car"! (sorry Roy, honest...). Although I'm already on the spotting list of the Port Moody police department out here, from family and friends talking afer sightings.

Jdubbya - could you email me the highdef pic's with my car - please? [email protected] - thx! Looks like pic's #4, 5, and 6. Any more would be good too - no limits on email size, load her up if you could.
