    Saturday, August 10th!!!

Poker Run, to benefit Hospice of South Florida!

The day starts at 8:30am, at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, and the drive encompasses the BB&T Center, Sun Life Stadium, Lamborghini Miami, and Gulfstream Park. In addition to the great drive and fun day, the best poker hand wins!

Each car is given a playing card at the start, and another card at each stop along the way. At the end, all cards are revealed, and a winner will be determined. Grand prize of a weekend at the W Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, along with $1,000 cash and the use of a Ferrari for the weekend!!

There is an amazing list of sponsors, so there are some great runner up prizes and other goodies as well!!

There is limited space, so please register quickly. Advanced registration is required. $100 entry fee per car will be collected at the start (all proceeds go to charity!), Exotic cars only, please.

Maybe if you could define "exotic"? Would a zr1, gtr, regular 911 be allowed to participate? No matter I will be at the cars and coffee and would like to donate to the cause if possible even if I can't drive. Thanks for putting on such great events. Btw, I also own a 911 but just prefer to drive the Z.

Hi Mike, we struggle with this at the Toy Rally as well. We tried to define and explain the 'exotic car' facet here:

It says basic Chevy corvette, I have a zo6. Kind of a grey area because a zr1 is considered exotic and a regular vette is not. It is rarely seen on the streets down here however, it is far from being a limited production car. If you see there is room or dont have other high end vettes just send me a pm message and I will be there at 8 30 am, if not I am fine as well. I don't want to be a bother at all, I just love getting together with fellow car guys and being a part of a great cause (my father needed hospice). Thanks for the response.

Hey Chris, sorry to hear you won't make it.... hope all is ok! If you'd like to make a donation, that would be very nice of you. Please make check payable to "Hospice of Broward County Foundation", and either drop it by Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale in an envelope for me at the front desk before Thursday (I have a meeting there), or if after Thursday I can pick it up - just send me a PM and we can get it done. Thanks!!

    Eighty cars...that is great! :)
I registered approximately a month ago, when should we expect a confirmation of registration? Also, will you accept a business check for the $100 donation?

    70 cars registered..............

Closing registration at 80 cars, or tomorrow afternoon......whichever is first.....

This is going to be a fantastic day, and a LOT of fun!! However, as much fun as we will have, it is important to be aware of the underlying charity that is being supported by this event. For anyone who has had a loved one pass away, you will likely know what an amazing job the people at Hospice do. It is truly a wonderful and worthy organization, and 100% of the proceeds of this event go to them (Hospice of Broward County Foundation). If there is anyone who can't make the Poker Run, and would like to donate, please PM me or email me.

You are welcome to come out for breakfast.

    Driver's meeting at 9:20am.

The first group leaves at about 9:30am, with successive groups leaving every 10 minutes......
