Are we having the usual monthly gathering this Saturday morning at FoA? I haven't seen any announcement. If so, we should be able to watch F1 qualifying from Spa at 10:00.
Maybe give the dealer a call …. spoke to Richard (SA) this morning. He said yes, they are hosting their usual monthly get together.
Dear Ferrari of Atlanta, how do I get on the invite list? Alpharetta resident. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Got a Ferrari? Just show up! It's normally the last Saturday of every month at 9 AM. If there are changes to that, you'll read about them on this forum.
I do, but live so close (Downtown Alpharetta) that I normally use an electric scooter.....I'll put a spare F430 badge on it to avoid some of the worst insults Thanks for the info. See some of you at the next event. Mark Roberts. '08 F430.
Can someone point me in the direction of signing up for these notices? Is it the last Saturday of the month at 9AM? I live in the area and just bought a 360. I also worked at FOA about 15 years ago.
I went for a drive in my daily around that area last night (FOA and "downtown" Alpharetta). Wow, it's worse than I thought. Trenches poorly filled in with concrete everywhere, and steel plates GALORE on Hwy 9 / Main St, north of 120. You *can* get to FOA avoiding most of that stuff, but it takes careful planning of your route. Being a car enthusiast, it's becoming one of my greatest displeasures of life that roadwork takes 100x longer than it should. Someone could probably build a skyscraper, bridge over stretches of ocean, or a space shuttle in less time than it takes to work on a few miles of road around here. All that said, see you tomorrow!
So sorry I couldn’t make it this morning. Drove by with my in tow on the way to another event and looked like an already fantastic turnout around 945
LOTS of Ferraris today, both inside and outside the building! Nice baked goods from Douceur de France and lots of good conversation. The showroom is full again (lots of F8s available) and so was the driveway. Some very interesting cars, including an SF90 in a very unusual goldish color. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Maserati end of the building actually had more pastries available than what is shown in the first photo above. It also had the coffee station; good idea, since it forced everyone to go down and look at the Maseratis, incluing the new midsized Grecale SUV that they were pushing. (29 mpg on the highway and less than $100k.) Take a look at the 296 sticker and compare the prices at the top and bottom of the column. For the $140k price of the options, you could buy a pretty nice second car (like a Grecale!). (I always wonder what the "Other Options" are and why they are not annotated.)
