hi all, I'll post pics from home tonight - I think I'm going to need to pay for a membership so I can post some tho here's a few pics in the interim http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet2.jpg http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet4.jpg http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet6.jpg http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet8.jpg http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet15.JPG http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet18.JPG http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet20.jpg http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet23.jpg http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet45.JPG This moring the VA leadership indicated they were thrilled with the event, so next year Haley is going to promote it more. Several patients who came out for this had not been outside the building in years.. an again, Haley says thank you a bunch, She tried to say goodby and thank you personally to everyone as they left... she was actually in tears while doing it... thanks again for everyone's help it meant a lot to quite a few people.. me included.. Chelle
Congratulations to Haley, Chelle and all else, who helped to organize and those that atteneded the event, a real good cause. Regards, Bill
Yep, Actually its a 575 and I used to own it. However payments trying to buy the car off from my father have now gone into homes in SW Florida, ( as I am hoping to start a family. ) I can brag and show off my soon to be built home, but stucco and Spanish tile roofs are no match for carbon fiber and that magical red automotive paint. Im hoping to get my Father out to some of these events, but poor health has prevented that. This is why events such as the VA get-together and Turbo's diabetes fight proposal are very dear to me. If Chelle or Haley would do this again I would definitely show up and participate. When you are lucky enough to worry about house payments and buying dream cars you forget simple things. That is why I am touched that great people, ( ie: Chelle, Haley and Skip ) do the small act of sharing their unique toys for people who have to fight for good health each day, have daily burdens we could not imagine, and have not had pleasure but have always shared the same enthusiasm for these types of cars. I can't wait to show off my car, the Hummer, next event and hope it falls into the same warm feeling category as the girls' event had. RocketBoy
Thanx too to Bill and Rocketboy, Positive feedback tells me everything is gonna be okay Rocketboy - I do love your Dad's car.. Thank you again for bringing it out And thank you for bringing yourself as well, glad I got to meet you Andreas - you have mail hope the pics are what you're looking for Chelle
Just found this "Chicago" forum today (August 5). Chelle -- hopefully I'll catch you at the next one. - Manuel
Welcome to the board! You don't happen to be the fellow who parks his dark green NSX outside my place every night, would you?
Thanks. No -- I don't have a dark green NSX. Mine is light silver (Sebring Silver) with a black interior, and AFAIK its parked at "my garage"
I can forward your e-mail address to the owner of the 56 - Here's a pic of the 56 leaving http://members.core.com/~michelle.lonnecker/vet68.JPG for their privacy I wouldn't give out their info without permission, however we do have contact information for most of the wonderful people who brought cars to the show Chelle
