    While I would have to bite my tongue re: PeeWee, I'd still be happy with that solution.

    And if PW runs the team from the pitlane we will actually see less of him on Speed than when he gets his old job back. And that's a blessing.

    PS: I don't have a problem with USF1 buying up a team like Toyota or Sauber. I only have a problem with telling us how cool a car they're building, when they're not.

    I would bet the details are similar to the Honda sale to Brawn.
    Hence the immediate layoffs.....

    Sounds logical.

    Even though SRTMike doesn't believe me :), there was a huge back lash going on in Switzerland over the way BMW retreated from the Sport leaving the Swiss employees at Sauber hanging.

    With this new arrangement, I'm sure the media in Switzerland will come around quickly and driving a BMW in Switzerland will no longer be frowned upon.

    Hmmm...a friend's 575 in Finland got keyed big time with a message to Maranello. He's been driving his Audi since then.

    And no, I was in Texas at the time.

    There's a guy that posts on L-power that works there (he also drives a black Countach);
    I'll try and see if he has any new posts, or is being retained by Sauber moving forward....

    Uh oh. I still haven't managed to get a tour of the facilities in Hinwil. None of my connections did me any good. So <ahem> if your friend would like to make another friend in the US...I'll be in Hinwil in May next year. :)
