    Hello all,
I've recently purchased an '86 White on Crema Testarossa. It currently has 2 low mirrors. According to Welcome to Red Headed the VIN does fall in the range of it being a single mirror model. However, after inspecting the A-pillar there is no evidence that it once was a single mirror. So my question is, does anyone know if Saudi models ever had single mirror configurations?

All Testarossas from 84-87 had a single mirror, regarding of their region of origin. The two mirror conversion must have been done well, but your car did have a flying mirror when it came out of the factory...

Ooops! My bad, I meant to type 84-86! 87 is when they introduced the two mirrors of course.

A lot of people converted the monospecchios to dual mirrors, especially when you could still buy them new and the owners wanted the latest look. The owner who did this likely spent the money needed to do it correctly...a good body shop can weld the holes and make all evidence of the mirror disappear.

    I'm thinking the same thing.

Regardless , if it's an 86 and follows the VIN flow then it's safe to assume its a single mirror.
