I am being committed next week to an asylum for being a compulsive liar

on a funnier note, on NYE driving around in Balmain looking for a parking spot I see coppers stopping plebs from parking in the la-de-dah section of Balmain so when I get to them I give the customary "piss off, I'm turning around alright ??!!"

I turn the DSC off and squeal the tyres (oops) and a couple of minutes later my phone rings with my sister asking me what I'm doing in Balmain abusing the cops

Seems out of the couple of thousand coppers patrolling Sydney NYE I abuse my nephew who is on point duty

I don't discriminate, I hate ém all

 

Thanks to the iPhone and the apps you recommended no probs at all. In fact NSW has removed speed cameras. There were 3 that I was prepared for and also was reminded by iHUD and they weren't there. GONE. . It's almost dual all the way now from Vic to nsw on divided road. Very safe. Still think the speed limit would be better around the 150-160kph. Roads are as good as the autobahn IMO

 

i wouldn't be able to trust the other nsw drivers at that speed, unless they plan on being more attentive and disciplined, I'll happily continue weaving around them at 110

Never say never. I never thought I'd fall 4 metres out of a tree I was climbing on Boxing Day in my backyard in order to access the Fox TV satellite on the roof of my two storey home and clear some leaves overhanging and spoiling the satellite signal.

I ended up in hospital for half a day with only minor injuries but I'm still sore as hell. I kept thinking of Superman Christopher Reeves who fell off his horse and ended up in a wheelchair so I count myself very lucky.

Tomorrow will be a good test of my agility when I try and get into the 348 and take it for a run. I'll try and stick to the speed limits !

 

My Dad did the same thing Vegas, except he was picking pine cones, luckily he didn't do permanent damage.

Copper was a rude one as well, totally abrupt and refused to answer any of my questions about the LIDAR

What is a LIDAR?

 

Stands for Light Detection And Ranging, which is a long way of saying Laser gun.

The NSW cops use the Prolaser 2 and 3 units.

Interesting factoid is that these units dont have jamming detection and im told are also amongst the easiest units to jam

thanks but the fine for transmitting on a restricted frequecy is prohibitive plus the cops aren't the ones who will catch you
