    It's the Triumph Italia, a 2 liter introduced to the 1959 Turin Motor show. The idea came to an Italian manufacturer and Triumph importer, Mr. Ruffino, who decided to make a Triumph coupè with italian style. Vignale built the bodies designed by Giovanni Michelotti. Vignale made 329 bodies only, while Ruffino tought to sell 1000 cars, but Triumph took off the licence in 1961 when they were absorbed by Leyland.

    This is Triumph Italia 2000 #8 of 330 produced. Same owner is lucky enough to own a pair, having acquired car #30 just a few months ago.
