wilwood forge calipers = 2.5 lb to 4 lb in weight

in comparison, TOYOTA ALTEZZA / LEXUS IS200,
    a stock calipers weights= 15 lbs each!!

    wilwood brake disc(carbon-iron material)
    **size 330mm = 12 lb

in comparison, TOYOTA ALTEZZA / LEXUS IS200 ,
    stock brake disc 290mm = 20 lb

    conclusion
    stock brake set= 35 lb X 4 = 140 lb
    wildwood brake set = 16 lb X 4 = 64 lb
    SAVES 76 lbs!!!

and then we can use Forge Alloy Wheel (super light weight)
**note: Japan technology, use 8000tons compression rate
Japan currently has 70% of the market share in Forge Alloy Wheel
**: F1 uses Forge Alloy Wheel (Enkei Japan)
**: European factory has only developed technology at 5000-7000tons compression rate

in comparison, a stock aluminium alloy wheel = 18,19,20inches size ….if changed to Forge Alloy Wheel, it can save 8.8lb each
    total: save 35 lb

brake set + Forge Alloy Wheel= total save 111 lb per car.

The question really becomes on of the quality of caliper and disk, as well as replacement cost.
