The 612 is not considered as a rare ferrari. For sure you don't see one everyday but spotting a Scag is nothing exceptional.

A 250 GTO would have been a serious F Spot.

DC- There you go again. When are you going to learn some FChat manners? Like you said, this is not a BMW forum. Be nice and stop bashing everything you read. Most of us really could care less what your personal opinions are on every little detail. So add something constructive in a few posts and help us to like you a little more.

I live in the sticks and have never seen a 612 on the road, so it would be a big deal to me to see one here.

I live in Houston (the third or fouth largest city in the US) and have never seen a 612 on the road. Never! Lots of 360s, 355s, & 430s.

I have to say I've seen plenty of Ferrari's on the road, but never a 612. Only in the showroom. Come to think of it I've only seen one 456 in the wild as well

Jeeeeeze. Yeah, thanks for the backup, Taz!

I never said anything about it being an "exceptional" spot. This was the first "in the wild" Scag I've ever seen, but I am smart enough to realize that a 612 is hardly a 250 GTO in terms of numbers produced. That said, it was in a relatively small town and the ONLY Ferrari I came across in France. I figured it may be fun to see if the owner is a poster here. That's it. I don't think my post sounded as if I had uncovered some incredibly rare gem.

Anyway, I don't know you or what you're all about, but right now, you know what you can kiss.

I think you need to re-think that tilted thought process ... try reading the entire thread one more time.

When you are done I suggest removing foot from mouth asap!

OK bud ... when I read the post at first I thought you were a 16 y o Fellow frenchman who was excited to see a Ferrari...

Obviously you are not so excuse me... And I will avoid to kiss your ass because my rancid cheese breath could damage the skin on your ass cheeks.

All in good fun.I hope you enjoyed My country. Biarritz/SJL is a very nice Area.

Can you give more details about the Scag ? What kind of grey was it ?

Did it have French Licence plates ?

It's possible...my ass is super-smooth and thus quite sensitive. :) At any rate, I'm over it, so no worries. I don't like bad blood, so hopefully our exchanges will all be positive from here out!

France is an impressive place, IMO especially the SW coastal regions (some of the best beachbreak surf I've EVER seen at Hossegor, but I expected that :) and St. Emilion. Getting up before sunrise and running through St Jean and from lighthouse to lighthouse along the bay is something I'll never forget. Beautiful.

As best I could tell, the 612 was just a fairly standard shade of grey or dark silver, but it was pretty dark when I saw it. I doubt it was any kind of special order color. I didn't notice if it had French tags, unfortunately. Again, as best I could tell, it looked like the interior was black with blue accents.
