There was a brand new red C6 parked right in front of my Bldg today, interior is nice, side flanks look very 550/575, nice. rear end is ok, better than C5 smaller, tighter, & less baggy looking

front is nice but too short, Need to borrow a few inches from my 68 Vette :)

I've seen two on the street in Canada, reportedly test mules from MI.

Well, there are cars that don't photograph well, but I found it looked exactly as pictured. I liked the new rear better, but the rest wasn't earth shattering...

Patty Mac we just got one in at the dealership in ardmore!! Armen of Ardmore if you want to see it. It is already sold but I know it will be there today and prob. tomorrow. I got to drive it about 1.5 miles from our service dept. to sales and it is awesome, but I really didn't get a chance to get on it as the ride is straight up lancaster ave. The car we have is precision red did you see a red one as the guy that ordered it and the manager of the dealership took a long test drive.

just saw silver coupe parked near my house and a grey c5 conv parked across street from it. c6 is very nice and a big step up style wise. the next z06 might just be the best street-track car out there. no offense to 360cs drivers but 1/4 million track day car is too stressful to me. 50k for z06 just about right.

Saw a transporter full of them in many colors early last week. The closest dealership has a burgundy one on the lot. The yellow and silver were my favorites on the first impression.

Honestly, it still needs to grow on me, the yellow C5 Z06 next to it would be my choice based on looks alone. I assume performance for both is about the same. Now, the 500 hp C6 Z06 may be a different story. Still doesn't compare with either version of the Viper, however.

pretty much but for every cool car corvette or hummer I have to drive a crap load of boring cars. there are very few chevrolet and buick products I can't wait to drive :). If you are looking for a good summer job though this summer remind me and if we have an opening i'll hook you up. Now, we are pretty full. I am in charge of the lot.

The C5 Z06 is still a good bit faster in the right hands, especially when compared to the base C6. GM said the goal of the C6 Z51 package was to give it '75%' of the performance of the C5 Z06. Considering the current Viper isn't miles ahead of the C5 Z06, the C6 Z06 should be at least as fast if not faster, but of course by the time that comes out Chrysler will probably have released the SRT-10 coupe which will have more power and be faster than the standard SRT-10...lol

I've seen a black C6 and it looked great, much better than the C5.

I saw one about 5 weeks ago on the road. I wonder how the guy got one so early.

5 weeks ago would have been a "MANUF" tag or a media car... the first ones out of the factory were only 3 weeks ago

The goal was to give the Z51 C6 75% of the performance gap between the base C6 & the C5 Z06. 75% of the performance of the C5 Z06 is slower than a C6, obviously. :)

I saw 2 of them this weekend.. A black one and a yellow one. Did not like the yellow at all, but the black looked great! Still not feeling those headlights.

In a few years, C6 will be all over the place- just look @ how many C5 now. I probaply see about 3-5 C5s /day. Mass produced US sport cars, pretty soon C6 will be a common sighting.

It has been all but officially confirmed that the next Z06 (perhaps called Z07) will have a 7.0L, 500 hp V8. It is also widely believed that the Z06 will substitute aluminum for steel in some portions of the frame, which would result in a significantly lighter package.

Price speculation is all over the place, but don't be suprised if they ask $65k for it. Bob Lutz has said "it will suck the doors off a Viper" [on the track].

I don't know where this 7.0L engine thing came about.....all the reputable sources have stated 6.3-6.4L. The original RPO list that was leaked like 2 years ago and predicted the 6.0L V8 when EVERYONE was thinking it was gonna be a 5.7L said 6.4L. The SAE magazine said 6.3L (the article high lighting the 3 Valve configuration).
