Last weekend I was in NYC and stopped into the Ferrari & Maserati store on Park Ave. Unfortunately they told me after I took this picture that no pictures were aloud on the floor, so I wasn't able to snap anymore :(

I'm still amazed at how large this book actually is.

I've been yelled at a few times and almost kicked out for taking photos in SF & Hawaii's stores. :)

    I'm such a trouble-maker. :p

Go take some pictures inside a Starbucks and watch what happens if the manager spots you doing it.

That's bizarre..To me anyway. What's the reason for not taking pictures of stuff.... Stuff that's for sale, not internal trade secrets..... Crazy.

It's much cheaper to just download it for the iPad. It isn't worth getting the paper copy, the book sucks.

No "Ferrari Premium" on the iPad???

Why would they even license a $5800 book to the iPad...?

I guess there probably ARE 500 Ferrari fans in the world who would pay the $5800 as it will be a collectible. :)

They're also selling the magazine for the iPad, feel sorry for those paying 50 euros a copy when the digital version is something like 4 bucks...

Hmmm... I've been to the Honolulu Ferrari store many times and taken a zillion
photos inside the place - nary a word was ever mentioned. I even took pictures
with other folks in the frame there (Mrs. Jedi, F-Chatter Sowest, etc.)

Must be a "store by store" thing.

I got kicked out of Ferrari Newport Beach for taking a picture of the VIN on an Enzo for Carbon....and later that day, the dealer put the VIN on their website.

    Nope.

We're just following the path that Carlin pointed out for those that paid attention.

When we were young, some people sucked.

When we were a bit older, most people sucked.

When we get older still, you suck.

The app you download is NOT the OPUS book. It's just a tiny little and sh11ty teaser, worth zero. I paid US$ 8 (eight) for the app and did it only that I had something to browse thru while sitting on a longhaul flight. Both the app and the real book are a complete rip-off, no matter what the prices are. The book mainly contains all these well known press photographs of the past 20 years, exactly the same photos as in all the factory brochures etc.
And then the book is full of errors, the captions are a real joke. They don't even know the difference between a 365 GTC and a 365 GTC/4, and on and on. But who cares? I don't.

Penske-Wynn Ferrari in the Wynn casino does not allow pictures either. I was yelled at by their employees for taking some pictures of their Enzo FXX :(

Haha they're so strange at Ferrari NYC, won't let you take pictures of the cars inside. Simple, step outside and snapshot through the glass :p

Do they ever sell REAL cars? All I've seen is the store manager being overnice and hitting on some young blonde girl buying Damiani for Ferrari jewellery there!^^

Wow. I would hate to spend 250K for the 'Diamante' edition and have errors like that in it!!
