It was the first 246 of any kind I've ever seen in the flesh, and I must say that I was literally *stunned* by the beauty of this car. Unbelievable curves, beautiful paint, fantastic wheels - a keeper, for sure! You guys really have something special in these Dinos of yours. There's just an "aura" about them that I can't find words to describe, but when I saw this car today, I just "got it."

    I'm smitten...

I have a similiar story. A couple (?) of years ago, when I was an undergrad at Ohio State, I saw a Dino at a car lot near campus. It was the first one I had seen in the flesh. To me it was a work of art, the most beautiful lines of any car anywhere. I knew that some day I would have one. Well, a few years later, I just had to do it. After talking with with Dennis McCann and looking at a bunch of Dinos, I found a beautiful specimen. Mine was a 1974 spyder. 18 years later I still have and enjoy my fantasy. Only a Dino afficionado would appreciate this story. My buddies don't get it. My wife definately doesn't get it.

I too saw this car today parked in the same spot (while leaving our club meet at Santana Row) and did a double take. Pretty color too!

I can't quite tell the color from all the highlights and nice liquid reflections.
Is it metallic? Perhaps the color Rosso Dino?

Nah....just the usual Saturday morning Santana Row gathering. This was parallel parked way out front by Stevens Creek Blvd. in front of "Tanglewood" (a restaurant).

I believe Rosso Dino has a fair amount of yellow in it...almost orange...& is non-metallic. This might be Rosso Rubino (dark metallic red).

Totally agree. The Dino has beautiful lines and is a keeper. I recently saw one in Seattle, but it needed a lot of work. Is there a good Dino specialist in the Bay Area?

First time I saw a Dino in the flesh was a few years ago while out on a stag do in Wimbledon, London.
Jaw dropping moment! Knew there and then that I had to get one at some point.
