Hardly. That's apples to rutabagas. Overall, cars today have more horsepower than cars built 10 or 20 yrs ago. An '05 V6 Mustang comes from the factory with as much horsepower as a '95 Mustang GT with a V8. That doesn't prove a damn thing about either car's value. C.
wasn't concerned at all about value, as in monetary value... just puts in perspective how much auto technology has progressed in the passing years...what was once a incredible high output 3 litre exotic engine is comparable to some modern non-exotics. says nothing of course about the totality of the car and "passion" it is a simple software database search that pulls up comparable fields.
They are using 205 hp and the last time I checked there are a lot of 308's that have 235hp and 240hp.
