After 3 years of fun filled daily driving including the NE winter, the day has come when my '99 456M GT is going to a fellow F'Chatter. The car started as a bit of a project with it needing valve guides and a major. Thanks to a very talented independent near Boston it got sorted out and became a totally reliable DD. Requested the buyer if I could drive it to him and will be doing that later this morning. A lovely car and a fantastic experience of ownership of a 1st Ferrari. A lot of you on this forum really helped. Going to have some post sale blues. Looking for a 430 Coupe in the NE region that can take on my DD duties. Any recommendations appreciated Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What a BEAUTIFUL car. Same color combo as my 99 550. Simply stunning. I bet you really do miss it. i always had a soft sot for the 456 GT M personally and the extra seats make it even better for a small family.
well done gill. i have seen this car earlier this year and can tell you it is well sorted and beautiful. you will miss it !
Congrats on the sale Gill! Car looks awesome in that colour combo. Also great to hear you were not afraid to use this car as a daily driver. Wishing you all the best with the search for the 430. Congrats again and enjoy the last drive man.
Yes I did - it was a daily driver. With the right tires it was mega fun. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gill- Nice to see a Ferrari being used like it should be. Good luck on the F430. Low clearance will be the worst problem driving the V8 in the snow. Make sure and put some of those skid plates on the front bumper/spoiler. What lucky soul bought her?
What lucky soul bought her?[/QUOTE] I did!!!!! The car is magnificent. And my wife and daughter both fit. Thank you so much for delivering.
