    Hi

I used to write a few messages under the old FerrariChat.com, but only now have I got around to joining the new FerrariChat.com!

...and so far so good..there are alot of pretty hardcore collectors!..wow

For those of you that may have never heard of us...we sell 1000s of different models and stock about 10,000 at any given moment..the trend of late has been to push towards the american muscle crowd and carry diecast by Welly, GMP, Highway 61 and so on...but lets not mention that again

Personally I collect BBR models (since 1990) and have about 400 of them including all the Formula 1 since BBR began as well as the compelete BC series of Ferraris

I also raced in the Ferrari Challenge in 2000 and 2001 finishing 4th overall in the sprint series and 1st in the enduro in 2000

looking forward to talking to you all about my favorite hobby!

    - Ron Adams

    welcome back!

i've hit your site a few times over the years.

you should seriously consider a more robust search mechanism. the guys at exoticar.com have a decent search tool to copy from if you so desire :).

your current search seems to only do OR (X or Y or Z - instead of X and Y and Z) and putting "and" in doesn't seem to help. so searching for "ferrari 550 18" doesn't return all the 1/18 550 Maranello items (et. al.).

i for one am far less likely to buy if i can't find what i'm looking for ;)

    best,
    doody.

I'm in Scottsdale on business every few weeks, and I frequently stop by your store. You've added quite a bit to my collection!

I have a question, I am looking for 2 Ferraris, the Classic 250GTO and the 1974 Dino 246 GTS in 1/18th scale.

I was wondering if you knew how rare this model is (Quoted from your site), as I have not yet seen it in the UK, and feel that this model would be cheaper to buy in the UK as the rest of the "raced" series retail at '$36.3395 USD' (currency converter to $'s)

    Ferrari 250 GTO "Raced"
    Item Number: MAT-29754
    Manufacturer: Mattel
    Scale: 1/18
    Color: Red
    In Stock
    Only: $59.95

but I have been unsuccesful in locating the 1974 Dino, on your site and others, would you know if you had one in stock at all?

    Thanks

You are right about the search engine..I have been bothering the web guys for months to change it...they never did the changes...We are moving our website to a new developer and host..such is life

in addition to a new search, there will be a new release section as well.

The new release section will be dynamic to the point where we will be able to load up a model sku, description and pict all within mins of it arriving at our warehouse...Currently it takes 6-12 hours

..but thanks for pointing it out!

"the Classic 250GTO and the 1974 Dino 246 GTS in 1/18th scale."

We do not have any Dinos left in 1/18..only 1/43 by MR Models

And as for the 250GTO..the Raced version was part of the 6 piece "Traditions of Racing" Series from a few years ago..If u can get it cheaper in the UK..go for it. For as junky as bBurago is..I kinda like their 250 GTO..but those are long long gone

You know, i was just complaining to a co-worker today how unbelievably crappy exoticar's search tool is... They're currently advertising some 1:18 West Coast Customs Ferrari NNO yet no matter how i look for it, i can't seem to find it on their site... i've tried searching for Ferrari, i've tried searching for West Coast Customs, i've tried searching for 1:18, i've tried searching for special Ferrari items and a few other searches, but to no avail... i hate exoticar...

Hi Ron, my flag and two of my models came from you, last Christmas, I`ve also seen you driving around in your 360 Spider. Your Catalog request doesn`t work either.

Welcome back. I usually prefer for companies to ask first, but this is fine. Consider this your one free commercial post.

Any idea when I'll be able to get a large scale (e.g. 1/8) Ferrari F2004 model?
