    First, I think you will need to get a (free for the weekend) SCCA membership to attend, but this coming weekend is probably the biggest SCCA race in ages, including the Runoffs. 7 run groups, many with 85-car fields, take to the full F1 configuration track. That is nearly 4 TIMES the number of F1 cars that took the green flag last October adn of course 7 races, not just one. SCCA racers are coming from all over the country for this. If you are a true race fan for love of the sport, not just the celebrity of the drivers, this promises to be epic.

    I'll be running Spec Miata 61 and SRF 69 in groups 4 and 3, respectively.

    Wet all day. Near 3 min laps in the SRF and SM classes. Interesting fact is that 10 seconds covers 69 cars in SM and about 50 cars in SRF. Now that is close.

    85 angery SM's going to pregrid. It is going to be a good race. I hope it rains. CoTA is fun!!!! Very technical. I need more time here.

    I'm having a hard time finding the results, I found a live feed, but they weren't showing previous results.

    On an iOS or Android App, you can click on the "Information" button on the top right, then at the bottom of the page it lists "Race Results" which are session results, too.

    saw a tweet from Jason Hart that SCCA cancelled a race due to falling behind on the schedule?!?!?

    poor form. hope it gets made up tomorrow somehow...

    don't get me started on SCCA, but I have no right to speak anymore as haven't done one in 4 years. I remember first time I did a NASA race I couldn't believe they started on time, got the entire scheduled race in, and finished on time. I had been brainwashed after 5 years of SCCA you needed 20 people in "leadership" positions arguing about things, start late, cut race short, and run late. I'm sure it will be easy to get race in tomorrow.

    Yes. That is what the paddock buzz is. I'm nationally licensed but really only left me region to race Cota so I don't know all the players. But the paddock buzz is that.

    I'm in the group who has been the victim of "the schedule" starting with Friday practice. We got rescheduled to race at 8am. On the surface that does not sound so bad. Taken in context of the weekend, however, what I want to post I'll save until tomorrow to see if a clearer head prevails.

    Just got home and I'm exhausted but in a good way. Still pinching myself over the SRF win on Saturday and had 4 top 10 finishes in 4 deep, 85-car fields with only slight "hustle marks" on the cars. Today was much more rough and tumble with full course cautions, but still fun races.
