Scenic Drive New Hampshire to Vermont- Mixed Marque

Description Bove's Blast revisited- VT Run 2013

I will be organizing a mixed marque drive on Sunday September 8th (rain date is Saturday September 14th). Many years back I worked with the area NSX and Lotus Owners on a Scenic Drive along Rte 100 through VT... to Ben n Jerry's. With a diversion to VT's version of Tail of the Dragon. Ending in Burlington VT for dinner at Bove's Italian Rest.

My intention is for this to be a leisurely drive among friends (past, present and future). This format has worked well in the past. Based on the nature of a mixed Marque event I will be the lead car at all times and speed will be set at a reasonable pace. The route is outlined below. People are welcome to join or drop out at any time. The time line below is only a guide, please plan accordingly.

Time line

Meet at The Hooksett, NH Rest Stop (Route 93 North) 9:45 for a 10 am departure. Please arrive with full tank of gas. Plan to use the rest rooms before we leave.

Rte 93 North to Rte 89 North
Rte 89 North to Exit 12 / Rte 11 West
Rte 11 West to Rte 12 North along CT River
Rte 12 North to Rte 4 West

Lunch 12 noon Long trail Brewery and Pub- Bridgewater Corners - 5520 Rte 4 and Rte 100A Bridgewater, VT – Lunch and rest rooms.

Depart Lunch at 1:15 pm

Rte 4 West to Rte 100 North
Rte 100 North to Ben n’ Jerry’s

Arrive at Ben n’ Jerry’s at 3pm. – Snack and Rest rooms.

Depart Ben n’ Jerry’s at 3:40 pm

Rte 100 South to Rte 2 South
Rte 2 South to Rte 100B West
Rte 100B to Rte 100 South
Rte 100 South to Rte 17 West (Mountain Pass, Vermont’s version Tail of The Dragon)-
There is an Irving Gas Station at this intersection, I will make a stop for fuel and Rest Rooms.
Rte 17 to Rte 116 North
Rte 116 North to Burlington, VT

Dinner 5:30 pm at Bove’s Italian Restaurant, 68 Pearl Street, Burlington, Vermont.

 

This event is filling up fast. I have 3 Panteras, 6 Lotus, 4 Ferrari, 6 Porsche, a little of this and that.

I checked the map on 511VT.com and it still shows the paving project. I can detour around it with Rte 125 to Rte 166 to Rte 17 back to Rte 100.
