The old man finally figured out how to post pitchers so watch out, I got loads of stuff to show. I think I'm the one on the right. After a stint in the Stearman. Switches
I wanted to show the three instructors who gave me life saving flying lessons. Left to right; Buck Criddlebaugh, Bobby Ahern, and Ed Denham ( examiner). They were the best to be had, all taught in the military, all were great guys. Switches
Cameras and snapshots weren't much in style when I was flying then. So there aren't many of the early days. I'm trying to find any that are interesting. Many have been lost from a vindictive first wife and too many years and moves since then but I still have a few from the 40's. Nothing spectacular as I didn't have the money to get into the big stuff. That pic of me and my instructors was taken when I was working in construction and playing semi-pro football and flying. My mom said that I was hard as a brick and just as dumb. She was always correct. Switches
