    Q. What about the rumours about Fernando Alonso?

LDM: You are very young, I am very old, and this is old news. Every year it is the same. We have two drivers, now three, plus also we are close to having Michael so we have a lot of drivers – this is not a problem for us now.

    Q. Would you still like to see Michael Schumacher back one day?

LDM: I told him last night and this morning in my office in Maranello to be careful with his motorcycle racing – you are going too far and you have to be fit sooner or later to be back in F1.

Oh no, here we go again !!!!

    I think it's just publicity.

MS is done for. If he gets into a F1 again he might end up a vegetable and he knows it.

Do you have intimate knowledge of the severity of his neck injury? Have you seem his medical records regarding the matter? Such a claim is silly without knowing all the facts.

MS has nothing to gain and everything to loose.

Would I like to see MS back in F1 racing in a Ferrari? Of course!!

Would it be an advisable thing to do for MS? No.

I watched the press conference live where his doctor explained the severity of the injury and the chances of recuperation.

Fact is, that the doctors themselves cannot make a progonosis whether this will ever heal or not.

However given the timeframe, it should have been healed already and as we know from the tests it hasn't. MS' personal doctor is therefore very sceptical as are journos who followed the case closely.

Add to that the fact that the man is simply getting too old for F1 and you can figure out the rest.

Silly is somebody who waits for his comeback.

PS: I went to Valencia and would have loved to watch his comeback. But at some point wishful thinking has to give way to a reality check.

Yes and no. What if he doesn't have it anymore?

Other WDCs have failed miserably at their comebacks. Alan Jones and Nigel Mansell come to mind.
