That's the story, the car looks goo so far.
Couldn't resist... Not again... last years car looked like goo LOL I know, a typo. just a bit funny I thought!
Indeed. Schumacher: F2004 V8 (running with lower wing) Badoer: F2005 V10 ps: V8 doesn't fit in the F2005 chassis.

Fisichella drove the new R26 with the V8. Alonso drove the R25 with V10. FA will drive the R26 thursday.
I stand corrected. It does strike me a bit odd that they gave the new car to Fisi. You would have thought it would have gone to the new World Drivers Champ. Maybe the early announcement of Alonso going to McLaren has already created a changing dynamic within the team.
What exactly are the "restrictions" imposed on the V10s? And since it seems they have been faster than the V8s, any chance that everyone will open the season with "restricted" V10s?
Problem with test days is we dont know if they are actually running to legal 2006 rules also 1st day isnt really a true indicator for the whole week but it is promising that Schumie is a whole sec faster then the next car The restrictions for the V10's are revs limited to 16,700rpm from unlimited and air intake is 77mm from err watever it was And yes Red Bull is running Ferrari engines this year. Prob as the year starts they will rename it to some sponser name like Sauber did when they ran Ferrari engines.
well, restricted means limited revs in the V10. there's a couple of teams will be doin the opening with res-V10s. toro rosso is one of em
The new Ferrari will be presented to the press on Monday. As a side note: The first signs of stress induced by Alonso's switch to McLaren are becoming visible at Renault: No interviews all week in Jerez, only PR bulletins. This is going to be one long year for the team...
Against Renault yes, but probably also against McLaren. Not as much, but from Kimi's reaction to the announcement it sounds things aren't so rosy there as well. Ferrari might profit from that.
BTW: Where is Massa in all this? I mean if the champ cuts his vaca short to test, shouldn't #2 be around as well? Maybe Ferrari has only one test car and they're afraid he'll throw it against a wall...
