He's good but could get off the bike a bit more and lower his center of gravity. The more weight he can get over the front of the bike the better it will stick and handle (in most cases) I know he wasn't really pushing it but just an observation.

Late coming on the throttle out of every corner. Too little throttle out of every corner. Needs to add more speed to each corner (too slow in, too slow at apex, too slow out). Not braking hard enough. Not using all of the track. Body position not good at all. And most importantly .... orange leathers on a red bike? Egads.

No offense to Shumi, he's a god and all, but not on a bike. Rossi would be literally driving circles around him everywhere on the track.

Hardass!! :D It's still cool to see an F1 star like Schumi doing a reasonable job on a GP bike. I wonder how many of the other F1 pilots could do a decent job on a bike like that.

You would hate my green leathers on my red bike... ;)

No no .. green and red is fine. Of course, I'd have to hang a Christmas tree on the pit board as a special present. Chalk-in things like, "Rudolf +2" and "Vixen -6" =)

    990cc, 230+hp, 365lb dry weight.... 200+mph rocket ship.

I sure they told him to take it easy and not wreck it, I'm sure with a few months practice he would at least make it on the back of the grid.

This is the new street legal version....toned down a bit for $72,000

Actually you would be surprised how many do ride bikes and can ride well. Damon Hill and Jenson Button both started out on bikes among others.
