WHAT?! OH GOD GREAT NEWS (other than the Kimi thing!) [I hate kimi('s attitude)]

Actually. I was kind of hoping he was leaving. It seems to me that he's peaked, maybe? I don't know. Bahrain GP was impressive. He is getting old for such a sport though.

    But Long LIVE MICHAEL SCHUMACHER!!!!

I jumped the gun with the headline here. THE GERMAN MEDIA SUGGEST THIS TO BE TRUE. NOT CONFIRMED! :)

Ferrari is seeing if Massa can prove himself to potentially become a long term driver for them, however Michael's future is undetermined at this point. If the case is that Michael ends up leaving, ferrari better figure out quick which two drivers they will get to renew their F1 dynasty.

    bwahaha, Michael is obsessed.

    Can't stop....can't let go.... :)

Still, one hell of a fun way to make a living, especially when you've conquered every record, have nothing to prove and are doing it just for the love...

People say he is a veteran, etc...maybe in racing, but in the real world he's only 38...

Plenty of years left to spend that $500MM

When I see Schumacher and Coulthard I see a reason not to fear growing older. They are both amazing athletes and in great health even if they are 'old' in terms of sport. Schumacher is like Batman; He may be a mortal human, but he has transformed himself into much more. No crazy alcohol/stripper filled, Tabloid worthy weekends, just complete determination. I just hope he has the team and technology to back him up this season.

I reckon MS is after 100 wins, then he'll stop.

    I would.

How many eyes rolled when Massa entered shot backwards with all 4 wheels locked up...... he's NEVER a team driver, let alone leader. One lap tester is ok for him.

I vote MS v Kimi for a year, then in 2008, MS to run the team and Kimi V Button or Rosberg.

^^ I think Massa made an honest mistake there. But that doesnt mean he is worthless. He has really good overtaking ability and given a few races will show his true worth.

Of course MS + KR in 07 will be amazing to watch

I don't believe anything till it's announced, even though it looking like Kimi and Ron and sparring a bit. The Italian press and the German press are both notoriously full of s***. It don't mean crap

Totally agreed, lets see how it pans out. As far as Schumacher, the old boy still has a few good years, as watching Bahrain showed.

Come on guys. We're only one race into 2006--let's just enjoy it and try our hardest not to pounce on every little speculation. If Kimi moves to Ferrari, then they will announce it at some point between now and then. There's no point in getting worked into a hype over rumors.

Hey Senna1994. you might appreicate this.

I was really sad that Michael matched Senna's number of Pole Positions. I was rooting for anyone else but him to get the pole.

MS is a good driver, but I don't think there is a driver yet in the series that comes close to Senna's talents.

At least I know that MS will not beat Senna's Percentage of Pole positions to the number of races.

Nor will he be able to beat Senna's title of King of Monaco. 6 wins with 5 consecutive wins in a row.
