yep and sadly is just now being punished, i am a ferrari fan but do not like the way ms has driven for them. yes he has championship titles but if you bend the rules and cheat i do not think a true champion would behave like that

You are a bit late for the angry mob scene son. Dude! The incident is a week old. Give it a rest. We have already thrashed it around about 100 times now and I have a headache. Silverstone can't start soon enough!

Ifin you are not on the line and sometimes over it you aint tryin!... most all the top teams / drivers have pushed the limit ... anyone remember the Mclaren brake power storage system??? in the 80's when they banned skirts... and mandated ride height... the drivers used to go out on the track and lower the car down and on their slow down lap pump the suspension back up... ball bearings in the water tank of the Tyerrell (sp)? double chassis Lotus, Brabham fan car, etc..... now days its the drivers that have to bend the rules to get the "Unfair Advantage"

Yea, it's getting real old. However, I don't think that there is a champion out there that hasn't done something questionable. It just so happens that guys like MS are under the microscope. I do think that he may be a little more desperate in his hey day.

Amen Sam - couldn't agree with you more.

    ***Repost***

Mr. Thread Starter, Hang it up dude - quit bashing MS - surely there's another forum better suited for your dislike of Ferrari - MS.

Here is the summary of what happened. Michael stopped on the track in the dying minutes of qualifying on the exit of the Rascasse section. The resulting yellow flags prevented Alonso and Webber from bettering their times - Alonso was likely to get the pole. Furore ensued as a lot of people believed that Michael delibrately stopped on the track. The stewards determined after 8 hours of telemetry and video review that Michael delibrately blocked the track and took away all his times and Michael was made to start from the back. Come race day, Michael drove brilliantly to go from 22nd to 5th. End of story.

He may be a cheater but he's a really ****ing good driver. It's all part of a team strategy.
