IMHO, he is STILL the "Maestro" and the greatest champion the sport has ever seen as well as it's greatest ambassador... Frank
The girls are cute! I wonder if it was on loan from Stuttgart or if this is a serial piece. If so, I should get one for my my parking court.
Indeed. Debatable. Unquestionably. Cheers to "The Maestro"! Ian PS - There still wasn't any overtaking though [He won races by more than a lap on occasion IIRC....]
what a stupid thread !! Schumacher is one of the greatest driver of all time in terms of WDC and has won many a race in the wet where he shows all the others a clean pairs of heels. Denigrating ANY of these guys in any way is ludicrous, as champions have a way of making people eat their words, not that I think he really caes what a bunch of idiots on the internet think about him BTW I think you will find Fangio was well and truly over 55 yo when he gave up racing
I understand that completely. Back to the topic at hand, I feel that MS will, over the course of the year/car development/Ross Brawn exerting his influence will more consistently finish higher than Nico. Rossberg is one hell of a qualifier, but I am still not convinced that his racing chops can live up to expectations.
Which is why we tune in. To the casual observer (the majority by far) this is looking to be a dull year. To the informed fan it may turn out to be one of the most interesting in years.
No matter which way you look at it, it was a boring opener but there always will be boring races. The danger is diving in quickly and making stupid rule changes for a quick fix. However the format needs a good looking at, starting with the tracks IMO.
