Talk about unfair, two Ferrari factory drivers competing.

Yeah, there are a lot of good drivers. Even it's an honor to drive in a race vs Schumi and so far. I will post the results, race will end in a few minutes. On wednesday they will broadcast a 2hour show about Michael and his career on german TV (RTL), and Michael will be there personally with his father.

The hilarious part is that German TV will live broadcast this go kart race. Apparently some Germans actually care.

I'd much rather have some reporting done from the current F1 tests.

    here's a wrap-up of the event . . .

    Schumacher back on track

Michael Schumacher returned to racing action following his retirement from Formula One, to compete in 24-hour kart race at his own track in Kerpen.

Schumacher's team was made up by eight drivers, including Ferrari's test driver Luca Badoer, Schumacher's step brother Sebastian Stahl and Germany's junior kart vice champion Marcel Lipp.

The team boss was Peter Kaiser, an old friend of Schumacher who manages a kart team in Kerpen.

Schumacher's team finished down in 12th place.

"We weren't the quickest, but we had the most fun for sure," Schumacher said after the event.

A total of 280 drivers took part in the race, divided into 18 teams.

Does anyone want to sponsor me and go to Europe with me to see if we can beat schumacher in a kart race?

    Would be a fun weekend:)

    Cheers

    Michael,

Given the poor result of Michael's team you'd stand a good chance to beat him. :)

I just saw a 2hour show on german TV about Michael. There were a lot of guests, his father, Ross Brawn and some team members, his manager, and Mamma Rosella. At the end Mika Hakkinen came up, and they made a karting-race, Mika, Michael, and the presenter vs a 6year old german boy. Was a great show. And they offered the 248F1 to Michael in the show.

Of course the 6 year old boy won the race, and Mika and Michael were on 2nd an 3rd.
Mika said that Michael is a great driver, and it was always nice to drive in a race vs him, and that their duels were always fair and clean. Mika also said that he is sure, that Michael will come back to race, maybe not F1 but some other thing. He made the same decision, after some years.
