I think the message here is that FIA is over prescribing penalties for any incident that could be spin-doctored badly. These are F1 racers, not Pokemon Poster Boys. Racing without passion is nothing. F1 with externally imposed soap opera dramas from accountants and lawyers is pathetic. FIA might actually achieve making F1 racing even more boring than watching NASCAR boxes bouncing around in circles. This is what F1 should be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cCRUvo_FYc
While I don't like Alonso , he did play Shumi like like a fool. I can't believe he fell for it with his experience, gotta give credit where it's due.
and get a 2 sec penalty for that? i don't believe this. eversince FA was slapped with a 2 sec penalty on friday, FIA was waiting to give schumi 1 too, just to spice things up for the championship
Michael Schumacher is a true sportsman. Alonso is a farce world champion who knows only one way to defend his farce championship... CHEAT!
And four different types of penalties imposed: time penalties to all qualifying times for brake checking and passing under flags, removal of top times for impeding, ten grid spots for engine changes, and a fine for something or other (speeding in the pit lane, was it?). Note that they're calling it "provisional grid": After all, somebody might get another penalty for poor table manners at breakfast. (Two seconds for putting too much sugar in your coffee!)
Schumi passed under a red flag - he could have killed someone! He should be stripped of his championships and banned from F1 forever!
