    I recently saw the same thing happen, but with a old McLaren racecar starting up. The driver set off a 599 GTB Fiorano's car alarm that was parked next to him, shortly after he started the engine. On a side note, I just realized that the Maserati GranTurismo's car alarm sounds exactly like the 599's.

    Fantastic.

    Does anyone know how the FXX gets his sound? is it just the exhaust itself (+ material, im guessing inconel?) + intake or is the engine internally modified also (ie more valves than the enzo?)

    Most cars don't set off car alarms on start-up.
