    If you buy those, make sure that you get a size which allows you to position the car on the ramps so you can remove the centre piece to fit jack stands and trolley jacks for safety and additional height. I have a set of 10" race ramp$ with extender$. Finding the ideal spot to position the car on them is a real pain (and risky). They are next to useless for oil changes on the F355 (because the drain plug is so far forward).

    Planks of wood with some kind of non-slip surface attached to the undersides would be far more cost effective.

    You can also poor a hole in the concrete so that the jack fits inside the hole, flat to the floor. I saw a Porsche garage like that once, real slick like.
