Impressive pace. Has there been any good New Zealand F1 driver?

He's a pretty boring unemotional guy.I was there when he won his first cart race.He looked like someone just shot his dog.

I am impressed if Dixon can keep up that well with equal equipment in his first outing. Hard to tell though without knowing under what conditions those times were set. Fuel-loads, tires, etc.

Denny Hulme won the 1967 (I think) F1 world championship.

Bruce McLaren founded McLaren ... and Chris Amon drove for Ferrari in the 60's and Enzo Ferrari rated him as one of the best drivers he has ever had working for him.

Bruce and Chris won Le Mans in a GT40 also.

Also we must not forget the awesome Can Am cars and Indy efforts of McLaren.
