The guy sounds like a total tool bag from the many stories/articles I've read about. Although his negative qualities we're no doubt increased by his substance abuse. Despite that, I did like some of creeds stuff.
funny how some people lead this life of how good, righteous, and spiritual they are.......then later you find out they have problems bigger than you. this guy was so full of himself and his band sucked too.
That seems to be the case for alot of people who spend a majority of their time spouting out 'better than thou' nonsense. People who don't have problems dont need to let other people know how well off they are (spiritually, materially, intellectually etc).
Haha, I'm infamous for using put downs that include the word "bag". D****e bag, tool bag, f*** bag etc. etc.
I would love to see a comprehensive list of these terms and even a liberal (however liberal you care to be) display of examples in which these creative phrases were used... EDIT: I, and a friend, have a sort of patent on phrases such as these, in particular: "crushed velvet spam bag"...

I'll say I'm not a fan of Creed's music nor the bazillion sound-a-likes that are out there, but I recall reading that he was *not* a Christian musician in the "Bible thumper" sense, but that they just like to sing about 'spiritual' themes. There's a difference between practicing religion and saying you are a spiritual person- the latter could mean you play with Tarot and visit Gypsies.

What I consider good is because they are good from a musicians judgement and not because of fame. He has a unique voice and catchy melodies for that type of music, but he couldn't sing the style of music I play, it would need a real trained singer who can really sing in a wide variation of keys.
