May the 4th be with you! Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale will be at 8AM on May 4th. Check out Scuderia Southwest for more information along with the location! See you Saturday!
Yup! Its that time again. Cars & Coffee at Gainey. 8am start time Featured marque this month is Corvette! So get out your old spice and join us for some coffee, chatter and some very unique Vettes!
CALLAWAY SPEEDSTER, PLEASE! I hope that thing shows up, I've wanted to see it up close for so long! That and the bubble top, which I saw at RM Auctions at night. I wish I got a better look at that one. BUT...Dino, it's May the 4th! May the force be with you, no Landspeeders or Tauntauns allowed? I guess the Ferraris and Lamborghinis qualify as a landspeeder though.
As long as the drama and advertising folks stay home, and the rest don't leave tire streaks in the parking lot or Scottsdale Rd., it will be a great morning. I believe the bubble top has found a new home in another state. When are we going to do that photo software?
Hope to be there in with a new machine, (over 400hp this time), if everthing goes good tomorrow. But still no f-car
Oh man, I'm so sorry! I completely forgot all about it! At least there is a new one out, I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they have it in stock and put one on hold.
Enormous turnout today with some really nice cars out there. Had to leave very early, unfortunately, but was hoping to catch a C7 Corvette given the feature marque. Saw some nice stuff showing up as I left, too.
This was by far my favorite Cars and Coffee. Lexus LF-A, Carrera GT, Type 57, 599 GTO, Enzo, GT2RSR and more, 'twas a good showing.
Today was unbelievable! It had to be 400+ cars. I missed some of the cars that Ash saw. Hopefully he'll grace us with some fine images. Thanks again to everyone who comes out with cars, cameras or smiles. You guys (and girls) have helped to make this a very special event that allot of folks look forward to. Now lets see those pics!
Type 57? WOW. My few shots for now: Desert-Motors.com :: Automotive Photography - Phoenix, Arizona - Cars & Coffee - May 4th, 2013 Thanks to everyone who came out. Possibly the most cars I've seen out there since being at the very first official gatherings back in mid-2007.

Was that your Vette? Great color. We had a few problems today. There were a huge amount of burn outs, which always attracts unwanted attention... and 2 Vettes got busted for racing on Scottsdale Rd at over 85 mph, One of the cars had a 5 year old in the passenger seat. Brilliant move! The cops had a sense of humor failure, and rightly so. Of course they wanted to have a 'chat' with the organizers. If there is one thing I hate is having to 'chat' with the boys in blue...... for someone else's BS. Nobody likes to drive fast, more than me. But, there is a time and place. I put together track days and the majority of people believe that it would be unsafe, they might get a chip or dust or who knows what, and won't go. Exploring your's and your car's limits on the track is fun and safer than doing 85 on Scottsdale Rd, with your kid riding shotgun. And you also might just learn how to really drive. Speaking of BS, a couple of weasels that know they not welcome at the event, were spotted 'slithering around', and will be dealt with and removed by the boys in blue if they show up again. Other than that, can you believe we had a Bugati Type 57! The CGT, and that 'lowly titanium CS'. All in all it was another great day. Just remember, we are guests and we could lose one of the best events of its kind in the country if we don't act like idiots.

Yeah, and chrome HRE wheels. I wish the woman driving it got it higher up in the rev range than the ~2-4k she left hitting.
Holy cow! I had no idea...I thought it was a $150-180k car. If I couldn't have my 458 I'd have to have the ZR1. Not sure what's so special about the GTR. Yep...but horsepower has really passed her by since I got this one 2003. Still a great open top ride though.
