Anybody get good pics of the GTO?

 

I got some.

 

Missed the McLaren and apparently, GTO, too.

Glad to see some of the pics turned out and, again, sorry about the lens hood! Felt pretty bad and dumb after that. Just hope it didn't get kicked up at someone following. I took quite a few shots at C&C, but the Aventador pics have kind of taken priority and I always spend far more time on these sort of pics, so I get through them slower. Will get to C&C pics eventually and will post them once I do, though. And I don't know why I said "508"... meant 507. Love THOSE.

You guys do know the GTO isn't the real thing, right?

 

The 599 or the 308? Pretty obvious that the 308 wasn't, but there was also a 599 parked a ways away.

Don't worry about it, I'm just joking around. I didn't like that thing anyways as it wasn't a real hood, it NEVER fit, that wasn't the first time it fell out, so it was time for it to go. It's a great story now.

No. There was a 308 that was 'faked' into a GTO.

 

Yeah, I know that car and its often at C&C and that owner doesn't try to pass it off as a GTO...

I'm still confused by the posts above mentioning the 599 GTO...

 

I believe it is just a misunderstanding.

The 599 GTO was real.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Always like telling people what kind of camera I have in situations like this, too, even though I know you're kind of joking. I actually use a 7+ year old lower-to-mid level Canon dSLR (20D). It's now five generations old in the same line of cameras and my lens is a cheaper, but pretty great Tamron lens. At the moment I'm even down to just the one lens, too. :/ Really need to upgrade one of these days.
