    Just wondering if anyone has 'Scratch and Dent' insurance or something similar for a 458 / 488 in the UK and who you use? Also same goes for alloy and tyre insurance.

    This is something that is sold in the UK and you can use to cover minor repairs for stone chips etc. I have had them on more conventional cars but am not sure if it's worth it on the 458 as they have so many exclusions for flat panels, ie bonnet roof etc. Already picked up a couple of minor stone chips on the bonnet hence why I was wondering....... even though I don't believe these are covered.

    As my dealer didn't offer it I wondered if it simply wasn't practical for this type of car or whether they simply wan't to make big bucks when you need a touch up.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    This is where paint protection film comes in. I covered the front bumper and splitter (488) for $500, chip free ever since.

    You're not wrong on that. If I ever get it resprayed then that would be on my list of must haves.
