This site goes all around the world, so we are informed of these things pretty much in 'real time', as they occur..

As owners we are always sorry when one of our new compatriots fails to appreciate the awesome power of these machines, it happens a lot more often than we'd like......that said, it's always a happy day, if the driver walks away to go hime to the ones that love them.

    Many, sadly, do not.

    But thanks for posting!

As that was an Australia incident there's a pretty lengthy thread in that Section discussing it.

It's really rather sad, IMO the lack of compassion from fellow motorists over things like this, I take great delight in pulling over to help folks along the road, flat tire or whatever....yet when the Public sees a supposed "rich guy" have misfortune it's really AMAZING to me the average reaction.......

I think this is a special case. According to Autoblog's grossly belated coverage, the guy was trying to show off. I think people have a lot more compassion for someone who is a victim of random misfortune rather than his own stupidity.

Everyone makes mistakes. When people get into accidents with each other, one or both of them were probably being stupid. It doesn't mean they don't need help.

    Nothing is 'random'.

Was he injured? If he needed medical attention then he certainly should have received it promptly no matter how stupid he was.

    I saw this too.

If I remember correctly the guy who crashed his Ferrari did it on Christmas Eve or Day 07'.

Autoblog has it wrong, he had left a bar in that neighborhood, not his home....

As to WreckedExotics...........sigh....not a big fan....

If that TR was the Copperstate wreck the guy's wife died in the car...that's just not cool to make money off stuff like that.

We frown on really graphic stuff being posted here, although there have been links posted to naked supermodels burned beyond recognition......

Sad really, most of us come here to talk about the cars, death is usually the result of someone making a serious misjudgement.
Texas alone has seen plenty of Ferrari fatalities, it just gets tiresome, to me.....

Some pictures actually show accidents where people have died. So it's not always entertaining.

You guys are right I deleted the post. My apologizes if I offended anyone. In the Testarossa crash both passengers survived with minor injuries.
