Screens for Carbs

I am looking to install some screens onto the velocity stacks on my Daytona. Anyone have any experience fabricating these? How can I go about making some nice domed screens to attach to the stacks????

I have been trying to locate some small collander/strainers from kitchen supply places that have the same diameter as the velocity stacks but so far no luck. If I could find these... I could cut the handle and such away and then used the nice domed screen section on the carbs. Anyone know a good source?

Use ordinary window screening . Available at any hardware store. Be sure to get the aluminum stuff, not the nylon.

The problem with window screening is in getting it to hold a nice dome shape permanently when installed on the stack. The window screening is so pliable that it wont really hold any complex curve shape like that without wrinkling and looking bad.

I think we have the problem licked. Located some little individual cup tea strainers that are the right diameter and made from stainless mesh. When modified.... should be about perfect.
