    Does anyone know if the screws that hold the rear view mirror panel
    (long piece upholstered in vinyl) should be flat or star shaped?
    It is for a dino 1972

    I'm unclear on what piece you mean. Is this the large fiberglas upholstered piece that covers the interior of the "A" pillars and top windscreen?

    thank you for replying. yes, i believe that is the piece. It is about 4 inches wide and goes around the inner windshield. It holds the rear view mirror.

    star screws? Torx type weren't avaailble back then...do you mean philip's head?
