I don't know, and wouldn't say if I knew anyway...I'm not that sort of girl!!! MG Racing and eventually the Festival of Sports Cars wanted to take a different approach to that of the HSRCA...it has worked well by all accounts from the participants. Last Easter had 500 competitors who (mostly) went away well pleased. If in doubt, wander up to Baht-Hearst this Easter and soak up the atmosphere...give me a hoy if you do ;-)
thanks for the offer, but I'm burn't by historic racing, have no interest in it or the arseholes whom run it. down here the VHRR is a **** club run buy **** people. Rather go for a drive or weekend cruise with my mates.
335i inherited 3rd just now. Leading Evo was tangled up in the Bowe subaru stack. All the cars down more laps than the Ford BF have had accident or reliability issues. No mention of the Ford's story in any of the blogs I'm following.
What ever spins your wheels BJ.....once bitten...forever shy huh?? Gee mate...you just slapped me in the face with a wet fish (as I am one of those arseholes involved in running Historic racing!! ;-) (albeit as an underling...) FoSC is NOT "historic racing" per se...have a look at the website...its a good mix of modern and old sports vehicles.
just noticed this....interesting..... 8 Safety Car Periods With A Total Of 24 Laps Fastest Lap Av.Speed Is 149kph, Race Av.Speed Is 112kph Current Race Lap Record Is 2:27.1194 Set On 13/11/1999 By Terry Bosnjak In A Mazda RX7SP
Your car has to come in at under 130k retail for the production version to compete. Or something like that
I raced for 20 plus years never again. No issue with guys like you,its the CAMS arseholes i dislike, can't say i shed a tear when one killed himself.
The attrition is mind blowing. I can't quite work out if they're last of the straight run guys or first of the walking wounded. Make the car in #33 place, 34 laps down, but Natsoft seems to vary some of the data a fair bit. Fastest race lap beats the car's #3 practice lap by ten seconds. Hard to know if they're making steady progress or if the attrition is moving the goal posts around. Still running is still having fun whatever's going on. Is a pic OK? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Strong enough to whinge. Gotta be a good sign. I suppose its a welcome one but, what's that saying- be careful what you wish for? Ha ha
My boy Searle still in third in the 335i but only 2 cars on the lead lap, 180, then 2 cars on each of laps 179, 178 and 177. Expected stronger engineering than it seems we're seeing.
Mr Morris should take note of his speed in the same car as him... accesses to data traces tell most sins
