    I noticed today that my factory battery charger/maintainer was emitting a rapid "clicking" noise while it was connected to the car. The light on the unit was also flashing in unison to the clicking noise. I disconnected the plug from the wall outlet for ~ 2 hours and re-connected it. Noise and flashing light started again about an hour later. Any thoughts as to what is going on?

    Yes, it's defective. Mine did the same thing. My dealer replaced it. FNA is aware of the problem. Seems to affect 2008 models and not 2009.
