Hi everyone, Yesterday, i took my car for a 1 hour drive, temperature was quite hot with 100 F ( 38 C), i stopped the engine for 10 mn to take pictures and then back to my car to start it. Standard start procedure, pushing the start button and heard the typical sound of weak start followed by the famous "clic clic clic" when a battery is discharged. Did it happen to you that after 1 hour driving (Highway with no traffic...), the battery went discharged, no warning light on dash... Is that a classic caracteristics of a dead battery? After checks, the alternator is charging. The battery was changed in october 2010. Any idea ? Thank you.
If the altenator is working you at least need a new battery, I use a Porsche 996 GT3 battery its lighter than a standard SCUD battery but robust enough not to let you down.
