Anyone know what this plug is for in the Scud center console?
Wire colours? Some of these harnesses are multipurpose. It could be an unused one, such as the (gated) reverse gear sensing switch. The only (used) two-pin plug in that area seems to be the power socket.
It's the reverse light switch. It should be stuck down to the tunnel with a piece of black butyl (good old Ferrari quality!) The butyl is visible in your photo. Are you painting your floor?
Thanks for the answer. No - not painting the floor. I was taking the center console buttons out to get refinished and to do that, I had to remove both seats.
