Don't know how accurate this is but I heard around 250-300 2008 scud coupes in USA and 90-100 2009 Scud coupes in USA. Total number seems to be a well guarded secret but from what I've been hearing somewhere around 1200-2000 total coupes.

More than 3025 total with 16M
Its written on a german side, there were problems with tires.
the back tires will explod if you go faster than 175 miles an hour.it will blow up.
So they call back 3025 cars which were build between June 2007 and till juli 2009.
I will find you the original message but it will be in german.
    doesn't matter or?

its certainly many thousands, not a Challange Stradale from an exclusivity perspective

The Search option in this site works quite well, follow the link:

    U.S. and Canada:
250 2008 Coupes (confirmed by FNA)
    90 or less 2009

I don't have information about the U.S. number for the 16M. This car was in higher demand than the Coupe last year, no information on confirmed numbers in U.S.

Worldwide production of 16M and Scuderia exceeded 3,000 cars. Germany alone sold close to 400 Scuderia and 16M by the end of July 2009.

Despite the awful sales in U.S. the last two years, Ferrari has been pushing successfully in emerging markets.

Wish that Ferrari didn't build them in 2009 and just produced the 16 M.

Mimon- I would be interested in seeing that bulletin. I remember the Scud tire problem. Quite a scary thing. Not much chance of doing that here. You can outrun cop cars, but not their radios. German is fine.

Correct, the days of U.S. being 40% of the Ferrari worldwide market are long gone. In 2008, this number was down to 26% (back when a Scuderia was fetching $450k on this market), and most of us know what happened last year.

However, in 2008 China, HK, Japan, Germany, UAE, Eastern Europe reported growth for the brand.

The FIAT group 2009 report will be presented this coming Monday, so the sales report should be available shortly after.
