First, let me say that I have no affiliation with Scud Ing in Switzerland.

Many of us have had good experiences with Stef's products. I have his LED tail light conversion and have been very pleased.

I noticed that Stef has a a new product ... "Smart EMT Relay ECU" His web site says it is a direct replacement of the original and infamous F1 pump relay. The one that everyone says to get the 50A replacement, but still may cause faults. Reading through his description, it sounds like Stef may very well have the definitive answer to this long standing problem of burned out relay resulting in burnt out F1 pump motor.

Besides the very long technical description of his new product announcement ... of which I am intending to get one ... he describes and recommends to switch from using Shell Donax TX ATF oil in the F1 pump to a true hydraulic oil. His recommendation is a product called Liqui Moly LM1127. Liqui Moly is a German company and makes various automotive oils and additives.

I looked up that product and it sells for $15 / liter. Wonder if anyone has any experience with the product. Stef indicates it is superior to Shell Donax and he claims that one can tell the difference when used in the F1 pump.

Here is Stef's URL link for all of the above ...

Anyone have any comments on the Liqui Moly oil?

LiquiMoly recommends using ATF in the F1 system on their website. Switching to a different type of oil on one persons recommendation is asking for trouble. It might work. It might even be an improvement, but if it isn't?

Earlier this year I tried to use an Amex card. No joy. Used a Visa card instead and that worked.

Thank you, I had to call my bank and have them authorize the payment. Really happy with the product, I highly recommend it.
