Test drove my first Scud yesterday. What an incredible vehicle. I am absolutely in love with the minimalist interior and the overall exterior of the car.

I have always owned manuals and am very familiar with DCT’s, but did not have experience with F1 transmissions before the drive. I was shocked at how clunky the car was at low speeds while driving slowly (warning up the car). The clutch is only 14% worn.

I’ve done some searching on the topic and understand it shifts best at high speeds while keeping your foot down. Is it normal while the car is cold and just putzing around town for it to be very jerky? Please note I do absolutely love the brutal kick at full acceleration once warmed up. The DCT’s were not engaging enough for me as a part of the overall experience.

I have had a scud for 8 years and it is not jerky at all.
